Baptist Hospital of Ferkessédougou is a non-profit denominational health establishment. It has been created in 1952 following the recognition order of the colonial government n° 2164 of October 17, 1952. This health center was authorized by decree n° 98 -379 of June 30, 1998 as “private health establishment participating in the public action of the Ministry of Health” by the Ivorian State .
With his vision of “Rehabilitation and Extension Project”, Baptist Hospital Ferkessédougou has “benefited from the State of France through the Development Agency (AFD) and the State of Côte d ‘Ivoire through the Debt Reduction and Development Contract (C2D). That help is about a financial support for the construction and equipping of a Medical Unit called the POLE MERE-ENFANT (Mother and Child Center).
With its efficient technical platform, the POLE MERE-ENFANT aims to deal with all obstetric, pediatric, neonatal and medical imaging situations.
With a capacity of 22 beds, the Mother and Child Center of the Baptist Hospital offers quality care to all while respecting cultural diversity, regardless of origin, gender, religion or belief.
