Baptist Hospital of Ferkessédougou is a non-profit denominational health establishment. It has been created in 1952 following the recognition order of the colonial government n° 2164 of October 17, 1952. This health center was authorized by decree n° 98 -379 of June 30, 1998 as “private health establishment participating in the public action of the Ministry of Health” by the Ivorian State.

With his vision of “Rehabilitation and Extension Project”, Baptist Hospital Ferkessédougou has “benefited from the State of France through the Development Agency (AFD) and the State of Côte d ‘Ivoire through the Debt Reduction and Development Contract (C2D). That help is about a financial support for the construction and equipping of a Medical Unit called the POLE MERE-ENFANT (Mother and Child Center)
